About the role

Healey House is a 25-bedroom residential care home run by HRVAB, a local charity supporting people with sight loss since 1921. • Help with organised outings, alongside our care team

  • Help residents in and out of the vehicle safely, including guiding residents with sight loss

  • Be a friendly, patient companion on the journey

  • Carry out simple vehicle checks and report any problems

  • Keep a simple record of each journey

About you

  • A full, clean UK driving licence

  • A safe, confident and patient driver

  • Friendly, reliable and good with people

  • Happy to help residents who need a little extra support
